Season Highlights
As a new team
this year we went into the season just hoping to be competitive. We had
some first year select ball players, maybe more than half, so we started
out slow. As the season went on we became tougher and tougher.
At the end of the 2000 year we went to play in the Springfield Tournament
and did not allow a goal in three games. We finished third out of 12 teams,
so it turned out to be a great season. This I feel due to hard work
and dedication by the players and parents.
